Piebald Ball Pythons Python regius

Also known as Royal Pythons these are native to Africa. The specimens in our collection exhibit a trait known as piebaldism which is the result of a simple recessive trait that causes patches of patternless scales.

T+ Blood Python Python brongersmai

Native to eastern Sumatra. These snakes have a recessive trait referred to as tyrosinase positive, a type of albinism.

 

 

 

 

 

T- Blood Python Python brongersmai

Native to eastern Sumatra. These are true albinos, tyrosinase negative, with pink eyes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ivory Blood Python Python brongersmai

Native to eastern Sumatra. This trait is an example of incomplete dominance. This animal is homozygous for the "ivory" trait. The heterozygous condition is known as "matrix"
